Senior Business Development Manager

An impressive global law firm is looking to bring someone in at Senior BDM level to work across their corporate practice group. The role has line management responsibility of a team and will be looked at to provide strategic leadership to the practice group.


As the main point of contact reporting directly into the Head of BD of the business a key area of the role will revolve around raising the firm's profile, this will require you to establish close relationships with senior partners & give you a platform to implement and scope a variety of initiatives.


Summary of some duties include;


*Developing and implementing targeted BD strategy & planning across the practice areas covered in the role.

*Client relationship work, including maintain current client relationships whilst also enhancing cross-selling amongst the firm and recommending new prospective clients.

*Project managing and tracking the proposals/bid process, feeding back to Senior stakeholders and recommending areas for improvement.
 

The firm's environment is one of the main selling points of this opportunity, with the ability to offer a flexible working culture & a real collaborative team ethos should prove very attractive to current BD Managers.

 

Ideally, a previous track record covering the FS/Corporate area would be advantageous but not essential, however, a dynamic and enthusiastic mindset will need to be demonstrated.
