An opportunity to work as a Business Development Executive is now available at one of the UK's leading accountancy firms, based in their offices in Essex. This role is responsible for all aspects of the sale cycle and its focus is to target prospects and contacts to grow and develop a sustainable new business opportunity pipeline.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
Working with specific departments, office colleagues and partners to develop and implement BD strategies with the overall aim to acquire new clients
Leading, attending and/or supporting monthly office BD meetings
Working with partners, directors and managers to develop and progress their pipelines through the sales process
Scheduling appointments with prospective clients utilising multiple communication channels (telephone, emarketing and social media)
Sourcing new businesses with the aim of establishing profitable long term client relationships
Be a key point of contact for all clients and prospects' queries during the sales process
Work with partners and Marketing Manager to set and manage office BD & Marketing budgets
Working with the Digital Marketing Executive to maintain the office web page and encourage social media activity
The successful candidate for this role will have had significant business development experience, experience of working in a consultative environment with partners and senior managers and have a strong ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of market sectors. If you are highly organised, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a proven record of new sales generation and success across multiple industry sectors then you may be suitable for this role.
