Revenue Controller

An award-winning international law firm is currently looking for a proactive Billing and Revenue Controller to join their growing & inclusive team. As a Billing & Revenue Controller you will be joining the firm at an exciting time as they have just gone through a rebrand and promote having a work life balance. During your role as a Billing and Revenue Controller you will be sitting within the practice group assisting Partners, Lawyers, PAs and supporting billing by distributing reports, generating draft bills and producing final bills.

As the Billing and Revenue Controller some of your responsibilities include:

  • Processing of bills & e-bills
  • Meet partners regularly to ensure monthly billing targets are met
  • Take ownership of the WIP and disbursement balances
  • Prepare, process and upload electronic invoices to clients
  • Investigate any billing queries raised
  • Process WIP transfers, write offs, adjustments and narrative amendments
  • Ensuring all bills submitted for processing comply with the firm's guidelines, VAT and Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Provide training to new team members on billing processes and work effectively as a team member

To be successful in this Billing and Revenue Controller position, some of the requirements include:

  • Previous experience within a professional services or legal environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and E-billing systems
  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop good working relationships
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
