Proposals Manager

A successful US law firm are seeking to hire a newly created Proposals Manager to lead the firmwide proposal process in their firm. This international law firm is a leader in their field and have growing strength across a number of practice areas - particularly notable are the areas of Energy, M&A, Finance and Litigation.

This opportunity will see you delivering a firmwide proposals service, working on varying of volumes of bids with support of one international proposals specialist who leads their own bids end to end. You will also have the remit to improve best practice as you see fit, reporting into the BD Director based in the US and supporting the overall growth and development of the firm.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing proposals, presentations and other materials to support both internal and international business
• Conducting review meetings with regional BD managers to assess results
• Managing the whole proposal life cycle end to end
• Leading taskforces to improve the pursuit function and best practice

The ideal candidate must have significant experience in proposal management within professional services environment - preferably a law firm, with the gravitas, confidence and experience to lead an international proposals service. You must have strong writing skills, project management skills and enjoy working on an international remit.
