M&A Director - Cardiff

We are delighted to have partnered with a leading M&A and Corporate Finance team based in Cardiff who are actively recruiting for a Corporate Finance M&A Director. This team are Corporate Finance market leaders across South Wales as well as having an international network allowing them to have completed various cross-border deals.

Primarily this Corporate Finance team work on deals ranging from 5m - 30m, however, are currently working on numerous bigger ticket deals across a variety of sectors. The type of transactions the team work on are a range sell-side, buy-side and fundraising deals.

As a Corporate Finance M&A Director you will be responsible for supporting the Partners in the origination and execution of mid-market M&A transactions. You will be leading transactions on a day-to-day basis as well as supervising and over-seeing the work of more junior members of the team. You will take on the responsibility of preparing project deliverables, resolving complex issues on transactions, leading client presentations and negotiations. As a Director you will ideally have some form of deal origination experience, or a real desire to be a part of originating work going forward.

To be suitable for this position you will:

• Be an experienced M&A professional working at the Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director level for an accounting firm or corporate finance boutique
• Be an experienced Restructuring Advisory professional who is looking to transfer their skills in to an M&A environment
