Junior Finance Administrator
A top London Law firm are looking for a Junior Finance Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will be working in a team that is responsible for developing and controlling matters relating to the firm's financial policies, affairs and administration. For this role you will be providing administrative support to the Finance team.
Responsibilities will include:
Generate regular credit control reminder letters and statements to clients and following up in a timely matter. Ensure that any emails are dealt with promptly and escalate queries as appropriate.
Monitor the firm's bank account for incoming credits, making transfers as needed.
Responsible for one of the firm's smaller client accounts, deal with the banking of cheques and any payments and following up with fee earners for any outstanding reconciling items.
Assist the Accounts Payable Clerk with posting any payments.
Answer both the Accounts and Credit Control team helpline, dealing with any queries.
The firm are looking for you to be ambitious with a desire to gain experience within a legal finance department. You will need excellent communication skills and need to be very organised.
