Insolvency Manager

One of London's largest independent insolvency practices is seeking to hire an experienced Insolvency Manager to lead the firm's corporate team with a view to assisting the Partners with growing out this team further over the next couple of years.

As the Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the team process the team caseload (Administrations - including trading appointments, Liquidations, CVAs) through from pre-appointment to closure and that the team are running the cases on a compliant basis and to deadline. You will also oversee the negotiations relating to the recovery and sale of assets on these cases.

The other key aspect to the role will be the staff and general team management responsibilities. Running staff appraisals, one to one catch-ups and recruitment processes, monitoring budgets and team WIP and reporting back to the Partners on the progress of certain cases.

To be considered for the role, the Partners will be looking for an Insolvency Manager with good all round knowledge of corporate insolvency procedures that is technically strong on handling all types of corporate appointments including Administrations.

JIEB is not essential but is preferred and good knowledge of IPS would be advantageous.

Based on the firm's growth plans and investment in developing staff, this is a role that will suit somebody with big ambitions who likes to be hands on with staff and case management.
