Insolvency Associate Director

We have been instructed by one of the UK's largest accountancy firms to assist them in growing out a strong restructuring and insolvency team in the South West. Plans are now in place to bring in talent at Senior Management level and this requirement is for an Associate Director to support the team on insolvency based matters.

The primary function is to business develop in Bristol and the South West as well as to manage the front-end of the assignments won from the local market place.

As the Insolvency Associate Director, you'll develop a network of contacts with other professionals and work providers, notably local accountants and lawyers, in order to actively seek and exploit business development opportunities

You'll assist in creating a structured marketing plan to support the development of the aforementioned network of contacts and be responsible for the strategic management and progression of a variety of cases won from the local market.

Coming in an Associate Director, the Partners will expect you to be a technical expert across all formal insolvency processes, notably liquidations (voluntary and compulsory), administrations, voluntary arrangements and bankruptcies.

Being able to prepare detailed reports and advisory letters to clients on technically complicated matters, manage work-in-progress and disbursements, ensure bills are raised and paid as soon as possible, with any irrecoverable amounts written off and take charge of preparing internal presentations and training courses will all form part of your remit as an Insolvency Associate Director.

To be considered for this role, you must be JIEB qualified as you'' need to be able to apply for an appointment taking licence, solid proven insolvency case experience and have the ability to network and business develop.
