An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal with fluent German language skills to join an award winning, highly prestigious law firm based in stunning offices in the West End.

The German speaking Paralegal role is available on a 6-month contract basis. The Paralegal role will be working within the International Arbitration team, supporting cases where fluent German is required, as some cases will be in German only.

Previous experience as a Paralegal is essential and exposure to International Arbitration would be ideal, however, other practice areas will be considered. Candidates for this Paralegal role will need to be able to hit the ground running and get immediately involved with live matters.

The remit of the German speaking Paralegal role will include:

• Translate, proofread and edit German and English language documents
• Support the preparation of legal submissions and exhibit bundles
• Support the legal teams at hearings
• Preparation of court documents
• Document review

In order to be successful in this Paralegal role you will need:

• Fluent business German language skills and experience of using these skills in a legal environment
• Previous experience in an arbitration or litigation practice group
• Experience of using document review platforms, MS Office, file management systems and e-resource tools (Kluwer, Westlaw and LexisNexis)
• The ability to commit to a 6-month assignment
• Strong team player
