An unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial modelling professional to build out a new team. We are working with a corporate finance boutique based in Oxfordshire, which specialises in advising entrepreneurial and aspiring businesses on all elements of corporate finance transactions, including acquisitions, selling their business and raising funds for growth.

Having experienced recent growth and several new additions to the team, they are now looking for a financial modeller at the Associate Director level to build a team.

They has an impressive track record having completed over 500 transactions with a value exceeding £5bn. A lot of their work is buy-side transactions involving private equity firms, along with corporates looking to sell, acquire or raise funds.

Initially, you will be providing support on transactions by building models for the team and working on large modelling assignments, building models for portfolio companies. The role will develop as the company grows, and you will have the opportunity to build a team.

The ideal candidate will be academically strong (at least a 2:1 at degree level), and will have gained several years' modelling experience, either within professional services or corporate finance/modelling environment. You should be passionate about pursuing a career in modelling and will be looking for your next challenge. This is an exciting opportunity to really make an impact.

Your Excel skills will be second to none, and you will have a high attention to detail. You should be familiar with balance sheets and have a strong understanding of the transaction process.

The role is based in Oxfordshire, however due to the location and nature of the clients, you will be expected to spend a day or so a week in London.
