An established equities broker is looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified Financial Modelling Analyst to join its Modelling & Numbers team in London.

The role will enable the firm to extend its coverage of US and European stocks and the main responsibility of the role is to build, maintain and update company financial models using published data. Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Building robust company financial models, maintaing and updating them on an ad hoc basis as required
  • Maintaining and updating these models for quarterly results
  • Performing model audits to identify calculation, accounting or valuation errors, offering constructive feedback for improvement
  • Working with a wide range of analyst within different sectors to develop models

Ideally, you will be ACA/ACCA qualified with prior experience within a financial modelling role. Your Excel skills will be second to none, and you will be naturally analytical with a high level of attention to detail. This role would suit somebody who enjoys working with numbers, and has the requisite soft skills to communicate your findings effectively to others.

On offer is a very attractive salary in addition to a discretionary cash bonus, plus other benefits. The team is highly collaborative, friendly and supportive and the firm overall is seen as a genuinely nice place to work.
