Financial Controller

A top US Law firm is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their London offices on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting new role within a rapidly growing business and as the Financial Controller you will be responsible for preparing financial accounts, production of supporting documentation for the annual audits, maintaining accurate ledgers and reconciliations to support the accounts for the firm.

Your role will also include:

*Providing feedback to Group internal audit.
*Help implement improvements to financial systems and processes.
*Manage the preparation of partnership tax returns.
*Ensure the firm complies with the Solicitors Accounts Rules'.
*Provide information to Group finance as required.
*Produce statutory financial statements for the partnership.
*Provide management information including monthly management accounts and related KPIs.
*Manage cashflow.
*Assist in management of overhead costs.
*Liaise with auditors and other advisors.

To be successful in this Financial Controller position you will be a qualified Accountant with up to date knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. You will have strong leadership and people development skills with proven commercial acumen. You will be able to manage a high work load, where you will be able to manage your work load and prioritise accordingly.
