I am currently working on a great opportunity at Financial Controller level working within a well established, highly successful and expanding multi-office Accountancy Practice ranked inside the Top 50. This role would suit an experienced Finance Manager from anotehr highly ranked Practice who is looking for a step up or a Financial Controller who is keen for a new challenge and wants to be a part of driving an already successful firm forward. A great package is on offer as well as the opportunity to develop junior's, work closely woth the Partnership team and really add value to a business.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Managing the firms's annual budget and half-yearly forecasting processes and liaising with Management Committee
  • Work with the Management Committee to define and interpret regular management reporting and analysis on financial performance for the firm
  • Managing the working capital management for the firm
  • Overseeing month end and year end processes, making sure that billings, variances and journals are posted into the firm's finance system in a timely manner
  • Assist in the production and preparation of group business plans and support the partners in identifying and developing strategy for their practice areas
  • Continual review of group performance, providing support in respect of departmental structures and changes when required
  • Working with partners and HR on resourcing requirements
  • Supervision of preparation of management accounts
  • Cashflow forecasts
  • Flash results analysis

Requirements for this role include:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
  • 5 to 10 years (Post Qualification Experience)
  • Experience of working in a partnership / service sector / time-cased recording environmen
  • Experience using Practice Management System (CCH), Access Dimension Lite, STAR Payroll and Microsoft Office package (Outlook, word and particularly excel)
