Finance Operations Manager
As the Financial Operations Manager you will be managing all aspects of the financial cycle splitting your time equally between billing, credit control, cashiering and accounts payable as well as providing cost analysis and support during the annual budgeting and reforecasting process. Some of your duties will include:
*Posting financial transactions.
*Ensuring bills are raised in accordance with client services agreements.
*Chase overdue debts.
*Assist with assessing credit worthiness of new clients.
*Contribute to discussions and share ideas to improve the financial processes.
*Day to day running of the cashier's function.
*Liaise with the local accountants to ensure monthly VAT returns
*Provide support to the central reporting team during the annual audit.
*Ensure that the Firm's accounting policies are implemented within the office.
*Ensure the control environment is robust and provides an appropriate level of 'future-proofing'.
To be successful in this Financial Operations Manager position you will have significant experience within a professional services environment. Knowledge of Aderant or Elite would be advantageous and a professional accounting qualification would be highly desirable.
You will be pro-active, determined, confident dealing with clients and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
