Finance Manager - Management Consultancy

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager has come available within a successful and growing management consultancy who specialises in providing professional services to the Banking, Asset Management and Insurance industries in the UK and the US.

The Role:-

  • Reporting to the group Finance Director, the role is a key business resource supporting both of the above businesses and will coordinate with and support business leads, the Finance Director and external accounting/audit firms with the day to day running of the business where the primary duties include the following:
    • Sales invoice preparation and issuance, tracking & reconciliation
    • Purchase invoice validation, payments and classification
    • Quarterly VAT returns preparation & submission from SAGE/Xero
    • Support annual accounts preparation and audit with external accountants
    • Cash flow forecasting
    • P&L forecasting
    • Bank Account Reconciliation
    • Annual R&D Tax credit preparation in conjunction with external firm
    • Monthly PAYE updates in conjunction with a third-party provider
    • Monthly Management Accounts Preparation
    • Finance project support (Funding raise, EMI Options, EIS relief)


Requirements:-

  • You will ideally be a qualified accountant and hold a relevant degree in accountancy
  • You have at least 5 years' of relevant working experience where you have had practical working experience of the above duties and are able to work independently
  • You must have advanced spreadsheet skills and have experience in using/operating SAGE
