Finance Manager - Brand Management

Job Title: Finance Manager - International Brand Management Start Up
Location: London
Package: Up to £65,000 + package

My client, a Start Up Brand Management organisation that falls within a larger International group, are looking for a Finance Manager to lead and develop a new Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Finance Manager to grow and develop within a business that has an international client base. You will get the opportunity to work closely with the CEO as well as other Senior Internal Stakeholders across the wider group.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Accounting for royalty/commission payments and manage interface between the Groups finance system (Aderant) to ensure all invoicing and royalty/commission payments/receipts are recorded
• Cashflow - management of cash balances and cashflow forecasting
• Monthly reporting and analysis of performance against budget
• Responsibility for maintenance of ledger balances on Aderant
• Prepare annual budgets/forecasts and annual cashflow budget
• Prepare annual statutory accounts for audit (individual LLP and for inclusion in consolidated group accounts)
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
• Management of supplier invoices and staff expense claims and liaising with the Groups Finance team for payment
• Management of follow-up for outstanding reports and payments
• Management of reporting for client forecasting requirements
• Assistance with client withholding tax claiming process

Requirements for this role include:

• Qualified Accountant with experience in royalty accounting essential
• Experience of managing wider finance-related responsibilities as listed above essential
• Experience within the brands-sector highly desirable
• Proven experience of working at a managerial-level with responsibility across a number of demanding deliverables essential
• Excellent attention to detail with high level of accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-changing business environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
