Finance Manager - based in Milton Keynes

A need for a Finance Manager has come up with a growing consultancy firm who specialises in providing business advisory and business restructuring services to a wide portfolio of clients. The company has 5 offices throughout the UK, with the Finance Manager being based in their Milton Keyne's office.

The Role:-

  • Reporting to the Director, the role is a key business resource supporting the business with the following duties:-
    • Monthly management accounts preparation and bookkeeping duties for all 5 entities
    • Sales invoice preparation and issuance, tracking & reconciliation
    • Purchase invoice validation, payments and classification
    • Quarterly VAT returns preparation & submission
    • Support annual accounts preparation and audit with external accountants
    • Cash flow forecasting
    • P&L forecasting
    • Bank Account Reconciliation
    • Monthly PAYE updates in conjunction with a third-party provided

Requirements:-

  • You will have at least 5 years' of relevant working experience where you've had practical working experience of the above duties and are able to work independently
  • You must have solid experience in producing accounts for a company from the point of journal entry through to producing management accounts
  • You will ideally have worked for an accountancy practice or a consultancy firm and understand revenue recognition for professional services' companies
  • You must be a self-starter, be able to work independently and enjoy the challenge of setting up new processes and procedures
