Events Assistant

An international forward-thinking firm are now recruiting for a Marketing and Events Assistant to join their dynamic reputation. You will be working within the marketing department and working closely with the marketing manager and other team members too. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take that leap into marketing and get their career progressing to the best of their ability. This is a contract role for a 12 month basis in the firms London office.

Main responsibilities:

  • You will be managing the constant growth of the alumni database and maintaining it on an international basis.
  • You will be in charge of planning and running yearly UK events in place with the firms events team of the firm.
  • As the marketing side of your assistant role you will be supporting the marketing and communications team with general administrative roles as well as a variety of activities such as; producing the weekly managing scheme, producing e-communication methods etc.
  • Therefore as the events side of your role your responsibilities you will assist the events team to create the best events for the firm ranging from, breakfasts to briefings and client meetings. This gives you the chance to explore the firm's stakeholders and gain plenty of new experiences that will help with future career progression.

The firm has a few requirements that would really help with your application for this role. If you have broad experience within marketing with aspects such as; communications, events planning and editing is a must have for this role. To have experience with alumni programmes is nice to have as well as video production and editing.
