Contentious Insolvency - Senior Associate
If you have a particular interest in contentious insolvency, have a read of the following.
Ambition are working on a role with a Restructuring firm for their London office. Due to recently being assigned on a complex project that requires forensic/contentious insolvency experience, there is an immediate opportunity to join the team.
Based on the nature of the work, you need to have a few years experience in insolvency (particuarly contentious) and be a partially or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA). This is initially going to be a temporary role, with potential to become permanent.
You would be expected to assist with:
- Document review
- Financial Analysis
- Liaision with internal / external stakeholders e.g. senior staff, key creditors, solicitors etc.
- Asset Review
- Working on contentious liquidations/administrations/bankruptcies
For this role you need to have strong understanding of financial statements, so being ACA/ACA qualified or part-qualified is important. Exposure to contentious insolvency in terms of insolvency proceedings is key for Admins/CVLs/bankruptcy investigations.
As the team are busy, you may get involved in other areas of forensic and contentious insolvency work.
