Client relationship manager - Technology

Our client is a challenger to the legal sector, redefining the way that legal services are met and delivered; as such they are hiring a newly created role for a business development manager to help grow this expanding business.

In this role you will be completely client facing, working with large blue-chip companies building direct relationships with senior stakeholders and developing long standing client relationships. In this role you will be hands on in identifying and targeting new business opportunities and actively going out to win business. Your primary target area will be TMT sector.

This is an ideal opportunity if you come from a professional services background and are looking for a role where you can make a tangible impact in a client facing capacity. Whilst this role ultimately has a sales element, the focus on relationship building and key account management means this is not a typical KPI driven role.

The ideal person will be an experienced B2B business development, client relationship or sales professional who has at least 5 years' experience in delivering professional services in a consultative way. The key here is in developing long term, ongoing relationships so you must have a strong track record of developing strong sales pipeline and get under the skin of client's needs to deliver ongoing revenue streams. You will be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders such as GC's and Heads of Legal Counsel so you will need the emotional intelligence, business acumen and tact to present confidently.

If you are from a recruitment, law firm or wider professional services background with education and/or experience of working in the legal industry that would be highly beneficial. Similarly, experience of working within the TMT sector will also be beneficial but is not essential.
