Business Development Manager - Financial Services

Ambition have partnered with a global law firm who are seeking to bring an ambitious legal BD professional to take the lead within their finance area. The role will come with line management responsibilities and will have responsibility for the finance group.

Despite the title, the duties & remit are inline with that of a senior manager, reporting directly into the Head of BD. We therefore feel it was will be best suited to a current manager with 2/3+ years experience.

Outline of duties/responsibilities;

• Line management of a team of 3 individuals
• Lead on strategic international BD & Marketing campaigns working across a number of sub sectors
• Formulate and manage the BD budget, providing analysis on ROI & seeking to improve/enhance effectiveness.
• Work closely with partners and wider marketing/communications team on raising the firms profile within specific markets.

The opportunity will provide you with the chance to play a vital part in driving the strategy within the finance team and will have various dotted lines to senior partners and the wider business development & client relationship teams.

A preference would be for you to have previously operated within the finance area of another law firm however we would consider individuals currently operating within wider professional services.
