I am delighted to represent this award winning and fast-growing law firm who is hiring for a BD Manager. The role is creating and delivering the business plans for a new focus group of the firm. Your first project will be managing the launch of this new group for the firm and taking ownership of the profile raising and business development for the group. This is a great opportunity for an established manager to come and make their own mark and work at a strategic level.

You will be involved in the business planning right from the start as well as proposition building and positioning of the group. You will be seen as a trusted advisor to the partners and the go to for around all activity across MBD with the support of an executive within BD who will provide administrative support.

About you

The successful person will have ideally come from another law firm and can demonstrate where they have added strategic value to a practice or sector. The minimum requirements for this role are:

• At least 5 years experience working within professional services business development and/or marketing.
• The ideas and gravitas to create a strategic business plan for a new group and see it through
• Great experience in delivering effective campaigns, particularly around a new practice or sector launch would be highly advantageous
• Solid experience in delivering effective business development strategies within a partnership

The Business Development team is by and large mature, experience and well regarded within the partnership with a number of new roles created in recent months (this being one of them).
