Billing Assistant - Interim

Do you have previous billing experience working within a law firm and looking for interim work over the summer? If so, a fantastic opportunity has opened up at one of the best law firms globally, to assist in their billing department to cover holiday leave.

Duties included for this role include:

Review and prepare bills for all practice areas
Day-to-day billing support of Billing Team
Amending, authorising, printing bills
Collating documentation to go with bills
Interacting with Partners, Fee Earners and Legal Support Staff (Not attending WIP meetings)
Chase outstanding draft bills (to include outstanding timesheets)
Producing periodic reports
Liaising with the London billing team to ensure bills are processed in a timely manner
Amend attachments/breakdowns (transfers / time splits)
Prepare pre bill guides/draft invoices
Bill attachments where applicable, create breakdowns (with time summaries)
Amend pre bill / draft invoices
Liaise with external suppliers counsel fee requests etc
Deliver bills (including CC Worldwide bills)
Split bills for firm despatch
PDF of bills
Check billing trays for bill delivery / draft invoices / adhoc requests
Time/costs transfers and write offs
Cancel invoices, print credit notes and reissue bills (same day) where applicable
Filing credit notes
