Bid Manager/Senior Bid Manager - firmwide
A leading law firm is looking to recruit a pitch manager/senior manager to take on a pivotal role in their highly successful bid function based in London. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned bids professional who is currently operating at management level. This partnership has some exciting growth plans for the firm but also for the bids function, whether you come in at Bid manager or senior management level there will be plenty of scope for personal career progression too.
Core responsibilities will include;
* Strategically oversee and project manage the bids process across the firm, challenging individuals to present innovative and tailored ideas specific projects to give the firm the best chance of winning the pitch. You will be responsible for running a variety of pitches from global panel pitches to public sector tenders.
* Being the point of contacts with clients across various industries, you will be expected to obtain feedback to aid the development of best practice for the bid team.
* Working with the wider BD function on specific projects, you will also work with individual sector BD teams on tailored panel pitches.
The current team has a varied makeup in terms of background and as such we would welcome applications from individuals within the Legal sector and from wider professional service. Exposure to operating within financial services could also work.
In terms of experience, we are looking at individuals who have operated at management level previously and can demonstrate prior experience of running multiple tender processes from beginning to end. Line management experience is not necessary to be considered for the role.
