BD Manager - US Law

A fantastic opportunity to work at a US law firm as a Business Development Manager is now available. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to step up to managerial level, able to work autonomously and confident managing processes end to end. The London office focuses mainly on Finance, Corporate and M&A.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• the development, implementation and monitoring of BD plans and monitoring and reporting on budgets
• providing market intelligence and client research, reviewing and analysing financial performance reports to support the monitoring of progress against business plans
• managing the tender and proposal process.
• Working with the partners to identify client issues for briefings/thought leadership
• Identifying new marketing campaign opportunities, including testing market opportunity with appropriate external research and coaching on development of key messages and positioning

This is a great opportunity that will enable you to take that step up to manager level with clear room for development and progression. You will be highly visible to your partner group so will need to be able to demonstrate the experience and confidence to build solid relationships with them.

The successful candidate will have strong research and analytical skills, be highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure. You must have law firm experience of working within a Corporate or Finance or related practices.
