BD Manager - Dispute Resolution

The firm is hiring a Business Development Manager to be aligned to its Dispute Resolution group. The role will focus on activities around key campaigns, cross selling, business development and marketing activity with very minimal pitching involved. You will be working with a high performing partnership group who are brought into BD and will look to this individual to voice their ideas and generate momentum across their BD offering. There will also be line management of one executive, although responsibility of this group is autonomous.

This role is ideal for a junior manager looking for a step up into line management and is keen to work across campaigns and business development. Other requirements include:

  • a proven track record in marketing and business development within professional services, ideally within a major law firm or an accountancy firm
  • be comfortable with compiling business plans, strategy and budget
  • be experienced in delivering effective and interesting thought leadership and campaigns
  • the gravitas to coach and encourage partners to take an active part in business development
  • be interested and capable of working for an international, top tier law firm, mid-size law firm
  • have excellent experience in legal BD and Marketing either at Junior Manager or Senior Executive level looking for a step up
  • have line management, or at least supervisory experience of developing a junior within your team

This law firm are based in vibrant, high tech offices, in the centre of London with easy transport links. The firm supports working from home and offers decent working hours. They have an established international brand and clear identity making the BD for this group exciting and opportunistic. The firm have a large international BD and Marketing department with support across key accounts, marketing, communications and events.

This role is full time and permanent.
