Assistant Management Accountant
Your duties an the Assistant Accountant will include:
-producing and interpreting management and financial information for the firm
-to support the Financial reporting & Budgeting manager in the maintenance of proper books of account for the UK LLP and the preparation of annual statutory accounts
preparation of monthly financial reports to UK and global requirements and deadlines
-production and verification of working capital schedules
-production and analysis of other KPI's
-assisting the team at month end with accruals, prepayments and variance analysis
-analysis and processing of monthly recharges and maintenance of the GL
-balance sheet reconciliations
-regular analysis and reconciliation of headcount figures and liaison with HR
-assisting in the preparation and production of London's annual costs and revenue budget
-assisting in the preparation and production of the UK LLP statutory accounts including liaising with the auditors and tax specialists
-preparation of information for outside bodies, to include VAT returns, regular information for the bank and other filings/registrations;
-assisting with sub tenant invoicing and reconciliation
-assisting with global standardisation;
-ad hoc work requests by the Manager - Financial reporting & Budgeting and other stakeholders as appropriate
For this role you will need to preferably have law firm experience, however not essential, statutory accounts knowledge, strong excel skills and knowledge of multi-currency accounting package.
