Accounts Payable Analyst

My Client is one of the world's leading investment firms.

You will support the operations of the Accounts Payable and Treasury Operations processes. You will work closely with the team to build strong relationships with suppliers and maintain banking relationships. Primary responsibilities include:
Coding and data/invoice entry for multiple locations
Strong focus on accuracy and process efficiency for data input
Involved in the month-end process through:
Understanding of the accrual process, and able to process accrual entries
Bank reconciliations across multi-currency accounts
Reconciliation schedules of prepayment accounts
Support to the Treasury Operations function by:
Inputting wire requests
Updating standard settlement instructions
Monitoring of bank accounts and working with team on funding requirements across accounts
Strong record keeping skills including:
Maintaining a record of correspondence with suppliers
Maintaining supplier BACS details
Build and maintain strong working relationship with suppliers to include obtaining copy invoices/credit notes/liaising on queries and other ad-hoc matters
Build and maintain strong working relationship with internal clients
Filing/scanning of invoices on a weekly basis
Work with professionals and support staff to obtain any outstanding information on expense claims
Corroborating that charges are in line with corporate policy

To Apply YOU MUST HAVE the following:

Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role mainly with experience in the accounts payable function
Some familiarity of expense processing and exposure to Treasury Operations functions
Financial services organization
Understanding of accounting requirements for above areas
Qualifications either Degree, AAT or Certificate level CIMA
Knowledge of Oracle strongly preferred
Self-starter with enquiring mind and willingness to question
Good time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
Strong working knowledge of Excel & Word a necessity
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, quality work in a clear and concise manner
Knowledge of Concur T&E system preferred but not essential
