A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled, consultative senior sales person to join a leading global advisory and consultancy firm to spearhead the go-to-market activities for an innovative technology platform designed for the tax and finance market.

This firm are an extremely powerful brand and the platform they have developed is changing the way tax and finance professionals work. The existing team have gained impressive traction and due to the success of the platform are ready to recruit a talented, dedicated Sales Lead with a demonstrable track record in working strategically and operationally to take things to the next level.

The Sales Lead role will require a candidate who is comfortable working strategically to develop the go-to-market strategy but is equally at home executing this strategy. The Sales Lead role will include:

  • Development, management and delivery of the go-to-market strategy for SaaS solutions on the platform
  • Ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle from identifying target clients through to delivery of pitches and closing sales
  • Build internal networks and relationships to drive opportunities
  • Drive pipeline and plan sales campaigns
  • Prioritise customer experience throughout sales lifecycle
  • Negotiate pricing, prepare contracts and legal documentation (with support of wider team)
  • Deliver sales forecasts, reporting and pipeline updates as required
  • Lead the team responsible for the sales support and client implementations of the platform
  • Work with the product team to provide insight into future features and development

This Sales Lead role requires a candidate who takes time to understand clients needs and offers consultative solutions - the successful candidate will also need to be a self-starter who is comfortable working in an environment that constantly evolves, coupled with bags of ambition and a hunger to succeed.

To be successful in this Sales Lead role you will need:

  • A proven track record in a sales and business development role - SaaS experience would be hugely beneficial
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of establishing C Suite level relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • The ability to present technical concepts in a clear manner to clients and internal stakeholders
