The Firm

Based in North London, the firm have seen expediential progression in recent years due to their teams having experience in accountancy, financial services, international tax networks and many more areas of expertise.

The Role

This a role is for a Senior Accountant who will be supporting the growing team around them and the Head of Accountancy. As a Senior Accountant you will be assisting the firm with end-to-end accounting duties. As part of a team, you need to ensure clients receive an exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide records of our clients using accounting software packages including Xero and Sage 50
• Prepare and post journals, update ledgers, perform bank reconciliations
• Completing year end accounts for Limited and LLP's under FRS 102, Section 1A and FRS 105
• Assisting clients with enquiries
• Organising final year end trial balance
• Preparing cash flow statements.
• Preparing corporation tax computation calculations and basic tax planning
• Supervising junior members of staff

The Candidate

Candidates are required to be a chartered accountants. Have knowledge of accountancy technology, including Xero, purchase ledger automation, and AI-driven management information reporting.

The firm are looking for:

• 3 year plus experience within practice
• ACA qualified or equivalent
• Organised and can work well under pressure
• Xero certified user
• Easy commute to North London
