The role will suit a motivated individual who can speak Mandarin, has experience of operating in this market and has a passion for building relationships as well as helping companies bridge that gap between the UK and China.
Key areas within the China Desk Sales Lead (manager) will include:
- Sourcing new business with the aim of establishing profitable long term client relationships
- Preparing and delivering client pitches in all areas of the new business life cycle.
- Targeting and closing potential income using both proactive and reactive sales techniques, capitalising on leads and existing relationships
- Identifying sales opportunities linked to legislative, emerging markets, technology, and economic based issues
- Working with the Partners and BDMs to focus and deliver future sales strategy on key target areas
To be successful in this China Desk Sales Lead position, some of the requirements include:
- Fluent Mandarin speaker
- Accounting services knowledge
- Able to work effectively in an autonomous or team environment
- Proven track record of consultative sales in a professional services firm or as a minimum a complex high value consulting or advisory B2B environment
- Proven track record of meeting revenue targets
