I'm currently working on a rare and exciting opportunity for a leading law firm to join their Private Capital Office as a Research Analyst. Playing an integral part of this newly created area, as Research Analyst you will be creating and managing the database of Private Capital within the UK legal sector to enable the firm to search, win and manage high level client relationships and use the data to better understand their clients and expand new business within existing and new clients.

Duties will include:

• Identifying patterns within data and trends by scanning and research internet publications, news and life events
• Researching opportunities within Private Capital within the UK and overseas markets to enable the team to position themselves to capitalise on new opportunities
• Analysing data for client profiling and targeting
• Mapping out activities from competitor firms
• Using data to target relationships focusing on private capital areas
• Managing, analysing and mapping out data to support partners and wider BD teams
• Identifying gaps within the firms own data
• Being able to identify and capitalise on global wealth events and hubs
• Managing existing client relationships and being able to support with longer term growth plans
• Fully mapping clients and opportunities to ensure success for the team

What's needed:

• The ability to work in a highly collaborative manner
• Strong data mapping, mining and analysis skills
• Previous experience working within a research analyst role
• Knowledge of Wealth-X, InterAction, CRM systems and other relevant data and news sources
• Strong time management skills and a flexible approach
• Strong mathematical, analytical and data modelling skills
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
