Private Client Tax Senior

We are advising a well‑established Top 10 UK accountancy and business advisory firm with a strong presence across the UK and internationally. The firm is particularly well known for its market‑leading SME and private client offering and is continuing to grow its Personal Tax function.

They are now looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to support a diverse and high‑quality private client portfolio, offering clear progression, study support and strong client exposure.

The Opportunity

As a Personal Tax Senior, you will begin to take ownership of your own client portfolio, with support and guidance from experienced managers and partners. This role offers excellent exposure to a varied client base and the chance to build long‑term client relationships while continuing your professional development.

You will play a key role in supporting revenue targets, delivering high‑quality compliance work and developing your technical and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of private clients, including non‑residents, non‑domiciled individuals, high‑net‑worth individuals and trusts
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, developing strong and trusted relationships
  • Advising clients on compliance obligations, legislative changes and potential planning opportunities
  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and computations
  • Managing a wide range of personal tax compliance matters efficiently and accurately
  • Ensuring work is delivered in line with internal risk management and quality control procedures
  • Supporting the effective and risk‑managed delivery of client work

About You

  • ATT qualified or part‑qualified, with active progression towards CTA
  • Previous experience in Personal Tax, Private Client or Mixed Tax within an accountancy practice
  • Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Organised, detail‑focused and confident managing multiple deadlines
  • Motivated to develop technically and progress your career within private client tax
