Pitch Manager

Our client is a leading international law firm with a reputation for excellence across complex, high-profile legal matters. They are looking for a Pitch Manager to join an established pitching team in London on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Pitching and sitting within the broader Business Development function, you'll work as a trusted adviser to partners and associates, supporting them in winning new work across both panel and transactional pitches.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of pitches simultaneously, from initial opportunity through to debrief.
  • Evaluating and qualifying incoming pitch opportunities with partners.
  • Ensuring client and sector research, along with competitor analysis, informs every pitch strategy.
  • Leading kick-off meetings to align teams and agree approach.
  • Supporting partners in shaping key messages, with the confidence to challenge thinking where appropriate.
  • Drafting high-quality proposal responses that clearly reflect agreed win themes.
  • Coordinating content from across the firm and keeping the pitch process on track.
  • Supporting partners in preparing and rehearsing pitch presentations.
  • Conducting debrief interviews and translating feedback into concrete action plans.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on pitch data and outcomes for senior stakeholders.
  • Driving innovation within the pitch process, including exploring AI and new technologies.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience of pitching within a professional services environment
  • Excellent written English, persuasive, clear, and concise with strong attention to detail.
  • Well-developed influencing and relationship-building skills, including confidence with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including the ability to contribute to pricing and value propositions.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
