Pitch Manager

We are working with a Global Law firm who are looking for a Pursuits Manager to join them in their busy team. This is a permanent role and will be based in London. The main purpose of the role is to support the larger, strategic panel and transactional proposals which often have a global outlook. By using your previous experience within strategic proposals you will influence and motivate partners whilst developing best practice and promoting this with the wider team.

Key responsibilities:

• Project manage a portfolio of pursuits simultaneously, including facilitating and leading meetings, agreeing strategy and messaging, reviewing content from a sales perspective, coaching teams on winning proposals and conducting post-pursuit activities.
• Manage, and contribute to, multiple continuous improvement projects, to embed best practice and optimal processes across the wider team/firm.
• Leading or supporting the delivery of proposals training for BD teams.
• Ensuring engagement of key stakeholders across the firm, including BD, Pricing, Innovation, GC's Office, and Knowledge to ensure the client receives the best proposal from the firm

Experience required:

• Experience of leading, advising on and winning end to end bids and pitches, including advising on tender presentations, ideally within professional services
• Creativity - ability to think of and deliver new ways to differentiate the firm's pursuit process and instil best practice.
• Managing and coordinating multi-jurisdictional and multi-practice proposals (including panel and project/matter-specific RFPs).
• Strong project management and planning skills
• Excellent research, effective business written and strong verbal communication skills, including attention to detail
