Working for one of the world leading consultancy firms, this Marketing Specialist role will be supporting a technology team with a wide range of projects, initially on a 6 month contact, but there may be an opportunity to become permanent for the right person.

There will be a real focus on content and communication in this role, supporting the positioning of the brand and their innovative offering. You'll need a combination of a marketing and publishing mindset, with a 'customer first' mindset - in essence you will be a 'corporate storyteller'

Working with a hugely talented team of senior stakeholders, the Marketing Specialist role will include:

  • Working closely with the sector leads to deliver an effective content and comms strategy, to position the firm as the leading voice in digital product development and design
  • Plan, execute and coordinate an integrated comms strategy across industry practice areas, marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Identify gaps and create/commission inspiring and engaging high quality content, gaining input from key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Ensuring all content produced is on-brand and optimised for search and user experience across all channels
  • Gather data and handle analytics and make recommendations based on results
  • Work with Industry leads to leverage market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop assets
  • Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing and publishing content



In order to be successful in this Marketing Specialist role, you will need:

  • Proven editorial skills. Outstanding command of the English language
  • Training in how to tell a story using words, images or audio and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience
  • Skilled at both long-form content creation and real-time content creation and distribution strategies and tactics
  • Clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content
  • Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and on-going programme campaigns
  • Great people skills
  • Fluency in web analytics tools, social media marketing applications and leading social media monitoring platforms
  • A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies as required
  • Great powers of persuasion and presentation (PowerPoint & Miro)
  • Enjoy familiarizing yourself with a wide variety of topics and helping to shape diverse projects



Key Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or related communications field or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably from a tech and/or agency environment
  • An understanding of how professional services firms operate
  • International experience (desirable not essential)
  • Extensive experience in multichannel content creation
  • Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics
  • Experience networking & forming relationships in a global firm
