Grants Specialist - Northern Region (Multiple Locations) - up to £70,000

Ambition have been released a new exciting role with a Leading Big 4 Grants team to play a crucial part in helping to continue the Grants team across the North.

• You will work with a mix of clients, from FTSE 100 through to small and mid-size enterprises
• No day will be the same due to this variety and also the chance to work with other areas of the business

Your key responsibilities:

• Working as an effective member of a project team, exhibiting strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Interaction with clients' senior technical and engineering staff in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of their project portfolio and identify suitable grants
• Writing compelling grant funding applications which demonstrate the innovative aspects of client projects, and demonstrate a strong underlining business case

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Some experience with cash grant applications / bid writing / bid reviewing either in the UK or elsewhere.
• Experience in dealing with technical challenges faced by industry professionals, such as engineering design, the development or improvement of manufacturing processes, development of new products and improvement to existing products.
• Experience of interacting with grant funding bodies and understanding of their priorities and policies.
• Demonstrable experience of contributing to or taking the lead on developing grant proposals.
