Financial Institutions Sector lead

Ambition are excited to be working on a sector lead position covering the Financial Institutions space for a well renowned global law firm. The role will be working very closely with the senior stakeholders across the FI space, reporting into the Head of clients and sectors. Alongside the exciting duties involved in the position, the firm also has a very collaborative and inclusive culture, making the environment a fantastic place to work.

As the sector lead you will also have junior support and will be responsible in managing an existing team of 3 Business Development professionals based in London. It is also worth noting that we do have the opportunity to position this role in multiple UK and European locations.

Core duties include;

• Take responsibility for devising and managing the business plan for Financial Institutions group, working closely with the lead partner to ensure it's delivery and ensure the budget is utilised in the most effective manner.
• Be proactive in making sure the sector approach is joined up on an international basis, building relationships with other business development colleagues and international partners.
• Help to continue to build and raise the firms brand and profile within the Financial Institutions space, delivering strategic projects and coming up with ideas for campaigns working with the wider communications team.
• Working with the client managers be involved in the client relationship management within the sector.

We feel this role could be suited to a Senior Business Development Manager keen to take the next step up in their career or someone already operating at a Head of level who is excited by the opportunity of taking on a global position. Financial Institutions knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, however we would like individual to have prior experience of working within a partnership environment.
