Job Title: Employment Tax Manager/Senior Manager
Location: London
Package: Up to £80,000 + benefits

My client, one of the leading Accountancy Practices in London with offices all over the Uk, are looking to add an Employment Tax Manager or Senior Manager to their well established and highly successful Employment Tax team. Due to the set up of the team this role has fantastic progression opportunities as well as being resposnible for a high quality portfolio of mostly advisory Emplyment Tax work.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Undertake consultancy work / review work prepared
• Manage portfolio of complex advisory and compliance cases
• Give exceptional client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client team
• Technically strong across all areas of Employment Tax
• Liaison with Partners, demonstrating strong management skills
• Appraisals/monitor staff performance
• On the job training and feedback for junior staff on a one-to-one basis
• Technical reading and research of specific matters
• Identify and attend appropriate internal and external seminars and courses
• Awareness and interest in what other parts of the firm can do, to encourage cross-referrals
• Actively involved in business development activities/raising firm's and individual profile as appropriate.

Requirements for this role include:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA)
• Significant employment tax experience gained within the profession and or industry
• Technically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client work
• Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients
• Existing business development skills and appetite to grow business
