E-billing Revenue Controller

I am currently partnering with one of our highly international law firm clients is seeking a E Billing Revenue Controller to join its central finance function on a fixed term basis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all aspects of eBills and traditional bills, ensuring timely submission and payment
  • Prepare, upload and manage electronic invoices across multiple eBilling platforms
  • Investigate and resolve eBilling queries, rejections and system issues
  • Maintain accurate timekeeper, matter, rate and invoice data within eBilling systems
  • Provide billing support to partners, fee‑earners and PAs, including draft and final bill production
  • Take ownership of WIP and disbursement balances for allocated practice areas
  • Hold regular meetings with partners/lead associates to ensure billing targets are achieved
  • Produce client accruals and maintain billing rate tables
  • Process WIP transfers, write‑offs, adjustments and narrative amendments
  • Support the training of new team members on billing processes

You will work closely with:

  • Revenue Control leadership
  • Finance management and senior analysts
  • Partners, fee‑earners and PAs
  • Wider central finance and business services teams

Key Experience:

Previous experience in a billing or eBilling role within a professional services environment (legal preferred)

  • Familiarity with Aderant and eBilling platforms (e.g., Serengeti, TyMetix, CSC, CounselLink)
  • Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills
  • Highly organised with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
