Corporate Tax Manager

I am currently partnering with one of our International Law Firm clients with the search for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join its finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of corporate tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions while supporting a variety of strategic tax and business initiatives

The Role

Working within a high-performing tax function, you will play a key role in managing corporate tax compliance, supporting international tax reporting requirements, and providing tax advice on business projects. You will collaborate with senior finance stakeholders across the organisation and external advisers globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing UK corporate tax compliance obligations for group entities.
• Reviewing tax computations and coordinating with external advisers where required.
• Supporting tax planning initiatives linked to business changes and projects.
• Assisting with international reporting requirements, including Country-by-Country Reporting and transfer pricing documentation.
• Coordinating tax filings across multiple overseas jurisdictions.
• Supporting responses to tax authority enquiries.
• Preparing tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
• Developing and enhancing tax processes, controls, and risk management procedures.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team.
• Contributing to wider finance and business improvement projects.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive practical corporate tax experience gained within a large organisation, professional services environment, or advisory practice.
• Strong experience preparing or reviewing UK tax computations.
• Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border compliance matters.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification.
