Corporate Tax Manager

A growing accountancy and business advisory firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to play a key role in the continued development of its tax offering across Northamptonshire and the wider South region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Corporate Tax professional who wants to be more than just a technical specialist. You'll join a small but expanding team where you'll have genuine influence over client delivery, team growth, and the future direction of the tax function.

You'll work closely with senior leadership, managing a varied portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial groups to larger corporate clients. The role offers a strong mix of compliance and advisory work, providing exposure to transactions, restructurings, group planning, and wider business tax matters.

As a key member of a growing team, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives, and help build the tax practice as it continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients across a range of sectors.
• Deliver both compliance and advisory services.
• Advise on restructurings, transactions, group planning, and business tax matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support Partners on complex advisory projects.
• Identify opportunities for business development and cross-selling.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the tax function.
  
  About You
  
• ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualified.
• Strong corporate tax experience gained within practice.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering tax projects.
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills.
• Keen to play a visible role within a growing team.
• Ambitious and interested in long-term progression opportunities.
