Business Development Manager - Tax

Location: London
Contract Type: Permanent
Specialisation: BD, Marketing & Communications
Salary: Negotiable
REF: BBBH251515_1632295547

We are delighted to be working on a new Business Development Management role covering Tax for an international law firm. You will be joining a high performing European BD team and taking on a diverse role which will see you be involved in activities across the full Marketing & BD spectrum. Whilst you will be based in London you will work across the European market with a particular focus on Paris, Amsterdam & Luxembourg.

Core duties include;

  • Take the lead on the client relationship front, this will involve you managing a select group of key clients alongside taking on the client targeting initiatives across the tax area.
  • Develop strategic marketing campaigns in selective markets in multiple geographical locations, ensuring the correct messaging is used in each individual market.
  • Work in tandem with the broader marketing team, in particular digital marketing to raise the firms international tax profile, putting engaging campaigns together.
  • Take an advisory approach to large scale tax pitches and also be proactive in putting together pitches for new business opportunities, pulling together the information to ensure an increase in pitch win ratio.

The firm offers a great career path for someone who wants to join one of the largest global law firm, which we believe gives a great platform for mid-long term career development. Prior experience or knowledge of Tax would be advantageous but not essential, likewise for previous international experience.

We are open to individuals who are existing managers and people who may be seeking to take that step up in their careers to management level for the first time. Alongside speaking with individuals currently operating within the Legal BD world we would welcome engagement from Marketers within wider professional services.
