I'm currently partnering exclusively with a leading international law firm on a standout opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join its highly regarded EMEA team.

This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a practice, working directly with influential partners, driving growth initiatives, and having genuine visibility across a global business.

The Opportunity

As the lead BD professional supporting the Financial Institutions Group across EMEA, you'll be a trusted adviser to senior partners and a driving force behind the group's growth ambitions.

You'll:

• Partner closely with practice leaders to develop and deliver BD and client growth strategies
• Lead major pitches, panel appointments, client programmes and cross-selling initiatives
• Identify market opportunities, analyse trends and bring commercial insight to the partnership
• Raise the profile of the practice through events, sponsorships, thought leadership and profile-raising campaigns
• Manage and develop two BD team members while collaborating with colleagues across Europe and the US

What They're Looking For

This role would suit an ambitious and commercially minded BD professional who enjoys operating strategically whilst remaining close to the business.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong Business Development experience gained within a law firm or professional services environment
• Exposure to Financial Services, Financial Institutions or a closely aligned sector
• Confidence influencing and building relationships with senior stakeholders and partners
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to spot and convert opportunities
• Leadership experience or a genuine desire to mentor and develop others
