Business Development Manager - Financial Institutions

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Financial Institutions sector team of a leading international law firm.

Supporting one of the firm's key strategic sectors across EMEA, this is a highly visible role working closely with senior partners and stakeholders across banking, insurance, funds, fintech, private equity and financial regulation.

The role offers a broad mix of strategic and hands-on business development activity, with a strong focus on client growth, market positioning and profile-raising initiatives across an international platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of BD and marketing strategy across the Financial Institutions sector
  • Working closely with partners on strategic client development initiatives
  • Leading on pitches, panel proposals and client presentations
  • Managing campaigns, events and profile-raising activity
  • Monitoring market trends and identifying commercial opportunities
  • Managing award and directory submissions
  • Collaborating with international stakeholders and wider BD, digital and events teams
  • Supporting budgets, reporting and ROI analysis

The successful candidate will have strong Business Development & Marketing experience within a professional services environment, ideally legal or financial services, alongside excellent stakeholder management and project management skills.
