Business Development Manager - Life Sciences & Health Care

I'm partnering with a highly respected international law firm to recruit a Business Development Manager for its Life Sciences and Health Care sector team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of strategy, collaboration and hands‑on delivery within a genuinely global environment.

The role sits at the heart of a sector that is central to the firm's overall growth plans, working closely with senior partners and colleagues across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development and delivery of the global sector BD strategy
• Coordinating and contributing to client development initiatives, including identifying cross‑selling opportunities and preparing materials for partner meetings
• Managing sector‑focused marketing activity such as campaigns, thought leadership, directory submissions and profile‑raising projects
• Playing a central role in planning and delivering seminars, webinars and other events
• Developing and maintaining sector credentials and supporting documentation
• Collaborating with colleagues across PR, digital, practice groups and client teams to ensure consistency and alignment
• Monitoring sector trends and client needs to help shape targeting and positioning
• Supporting internal reporting, budget management and process improvement
• Sharing insights and updates across the wider team to maintain strong communication and alignment
