BD & Marketing Manager, Private Equity - Paris

A leading global law firm is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Manager to support the continued growth of its market-leading Private Equity practice in Paris. This is a highly strategic role with a strong focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities, leveraging market intelligence, and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across an international network. Offering significant exposure to both local and global initiatives, this position would suit a commercially minded BD professional who enjoys driving growth in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business development strategy for the Paris Private Equity practice.
• Proactively identify new opportunities through market monitoring, competitive intelligence and asset tracking.
• Support partners with insights on upcoming transactions, key market developments and prospective clients.
• Lead the delivery of pitches, proposals and panel submissions to win new business.
• Drive client targeting and cross-selling initiatives across practices and jurisdictions.
• Build strong relationships with partners and advise on strategic growth opportunities using data-driven insights.

Experience Required

• Proven business development experience within legal or wider professional services, ideally supporting Private Equity, M&A or related practices.
• Strong understanding of private equity transactions, market trends and the competitive landscape.
• Experience developing and implementing BD strategies that drive revenue growth and client engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality pitches, proposals and client development initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across international teams and influence senior partners.
• Fluent French and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
