Business Development Executive - Corporate - 38k-42k
Are you a talented Business Development professional looking for your next career move? A leading law firm is looking for a Business Development Executive to work within their corporate practice. In this role you will get the chance to work closely with the energy and infrastructure practices and will also support the wider corporate practice! Internally you will be working closely with Corporate Practice, The Corporate Business Development Team, Global Business Development Team, Brand, Marketing and Design Team and Professional Support Lawyers.
Roles and responsibilities
You will actively support the execution of present business plans and Business Development Initiatives. Work closely with your team to develop new initiatives that are of relevance to the firm's business plan.
Liaise with partners, associates and wider BD team in order to best assist with preparation of fundamental pitches. Ensure these are logged appropriately.
You will work closely with other BD teams in providing applicable information such as credentials and CVs for panel pitches and other significant pitches.
Provide useful advice to colleagues on the best practice around pitching, including proposition development, messaging and presentation skills.
You will work with fee earners and the corporate BD team in identifying the best strategies for engaging with clients through events, podcasts, webinars, meetings etc. You will also assist with both the creation and implementation of profile-raising campaigns.
Project manage the directory submissions process to ensure that the firm is maximising their rankings and communicate with the Chambers/Legal 500 researchers, connect with the researchers to set-up interviews and check deadlines.
Help to project manage headline events in conjunction with a dedicated PA and the events team.
You will maintain the firms credential system for crucial corporate matters and will actively support the updates of the corporate section of the website.
About you
You will have two to three years Business Development experience in a corporate or professional services firm.
Exposure to the corporate market and/or the energy and infrastructure sectors is preferred although not essential.
You will be Degree educated or have a similar level of work experience.
Experience of working within a partnership is desirable.
