Looking for a practice where you'll be treated as an individual, given real responsibility from the outset, and supported by partners who are genuinely invested in your development?
Our client is a growing, 10-partner independent practice based in North London, with a client base and range of work that rivals many medium-sized central London firms. They operate with the technical depth and experience of a larger practice, combined with the personal, partner-led service culture of a well-run boutique.
They are now looking to recruit at Audit Senior and Semi-Senior level, welcoming both qualified accountants and those approaching qualification with strong practical audit experience.
This is a varied, client-facing role that will see you working across a broad portfolio of assignments, from owner-managed businesses to international groups and companies listed on the London Stock Exchange.
What you'll be doing
- Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion across a varied and high-quality client portfolio
- Take ownership of your assignments, managing delivery within agreed budgets and timescales
- Prepare financial statements in line with applicable standards, including FRS 102 and FRS 102 1A
- Supervise, support, and review the work of junior team members, contributing to their development on the job
- Maintain clear and professional communication with both clients and colleagues throughout each engagement
- Identify opportunities to add value to clients beyond the core audit and bring these to the attention of the partner group
- Contribute to a team culture built on quality, collaboration, and a genuine drive to do good work
