Audit Director - RI

I am currently working with an excellent Central London firm that is looking add an Audit Director to their team due to strong growth over the past year.

Reporting into the Audit Partners, you will be tasked with overseeing the audit department and responsible for the development and growth of the team.

This role could either suit someone who wants to become a Partner in the future or someone who has previously worked at that level but is now looking to utilise their experience in a good working environment.

Responsibilities

• Tasked with overseeing the Audit & Accounts Department
• Sign off audit reports
• In charge of training and development of the team, implementing changes where necessary
• Ensure the teams roles are defined and optimised as well as providing them with development opportunities
• Manage WIP, billing and chargeable time for the department t
• Manage recruitment within the department
• Ad-hoc projects such as the implementation of audit software

Requirements

• ACA OR ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• RI status or in the process of obtaining it
• Experience as a Senior Manager or Director/Partner
• Experience working under IFRS, SRA and SORP would be highly beneficial or other regulated audit work exposure
